Background
Professional
With 15+ years public service experience, advocacy and social justice are integral to my practice. My career experience has been diverse, supports my desire to provide a service that's valuable to my community and presents an opportunity to utilize my individual skillset.
I started my career with the Oregon Department of Forestry as a Wildfire Dispatcher. After that, I transitioned to work as a visitation facilitator for Child Welfare where I remained for almost a decade, helping DHS involved families maintain their bond and connection during periods of separation.

Following that, I worked in administration for Jackson County Mental Health, helping to develop a robust Mental Health Peer Support program embedded within a crisis unit, providing support for those in urgent need. During this time, I also instructed a Mental Health Peer Support certification course at Rogue Community College.

Finally, just prior to becoming a therapist, I was an emergency dispatcher for the State of Oregon. There, I provided emergency services for people across the state.
Personal
I have a wide array of personal experiences which enhance my ability to provide a non-judgmental and encouraging therapeutic atmosphere. Life is complex and precious. It's worth taking the time to examine how we move within the world, to determine how we might bring it into better alignment with our values to add deeper meaning.
Philosophy
We all experience periods in our lives when we must reach deep within and call upon our resources. It is my life's calling to walk alongside people as they navigate this space and discover their strength.
My Approach
Through our work together, I will help you identify your core values and explore what it means to you to be well and living a good life. We will look at barriers and experiences which might be getting in the way of your highest path. We will utilize concrete mindfulness skills and collaborate toward values-based action.
